How can you dispute something on your credit report?

question of operaphantom2003 : How can you dispute something on your credit report There are a few things that were reaged from a collection agency and they can not. The SOL has passed, and they should be removed from my credit report. Even if your credit report, where is the “date of last activity”? All I see is the open date and last reported date. The last reported date can not possibly go to the date of order because then the company to remain on your credit report forever. I’ve never had problems from falling over things, but before Capital One refuses to settle down and three different collection agencies (for a map, mind you) keep reporting a new appointment open. This is ridiculous. How do I remove it? It has been 8 years now and they’re still there Best Answer.

The defendant never paid this amount and we would like for this to show up on his credit report. I have been told unpaid civil judgements tinned be included in the personal section of a credit report but I am unable to find out how to get the credit bureaus to acknowledge this judgement and show it on his credit report. Can anyone tell me how to get this debt on his credit report?

Here are 3 specific examples that ReallyFreeCreditScore.com outlines that can affect your credit score:

1. Paying your bills on time without any missed or late payments for a year and a half can raise your credit score by 20 points.
2. Neglecting to do the first point mentioned above and missing a payment for more than 30 days and result in double the negative impact — a reduction in 40 points on your assign score.
